An olympic-type swimming pool with lap lanes. Separate children's wading pool and playground area.
The Bernard House Pavilion Indoor Pool & Spa
Year-round indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna & steamroom.

Complete with weights, stationary bikes, treadmills, Jacuzzi spa and sauna.

The Bernard's Beach
A private sandy beach on a secluded cove near the Bernard House & Pavilion.
The Highland's Event Center Pool
A smaller pool for relaxation adjacent to the Highland Event Center.

Run, Walk, or Bike
The unhurried streets in our community make for great places to run, walk or bike. Many other hiking and biking trails are nearby, including the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Fishing
Whether you're an expert or a novice, you've come to the right place. We can even hook you up with an experienced guide to help you find the right place and the right lure. The lake is stocked with striped bass, largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, muskie, lunge, and catfish.
Boating
Bring your own boat or PWC for fishing, skiing or just having fun. Enjoy the convenience of an in-water dock right outside your door, plus launch access and trailer storage for a nominal fee. Watercraft rental is also available at our Marina through Bridgewater Marina. Rent a ski-boat, pontoon, personal water craft, canoe, or kayak. Advance reservations recommended.
